At Perno Performance we...
Take the fluff out of fitness and focus on what’s truly important. We don’t worry about quick fixes, restrictive dieting, or smashing people into oblivion during their workouts.
That method is tried, tested, and busted. It’s stupid. It’s unnecessary. It leads to injuries. It results in people “falling off the bandwagon.”
Instead, we like to focus on real, fundamental habits that lead to life-long results.
This is achieved by focusing on the basics, understanding movement patterns, learning exercise technique properly, using intervention techniques to abolish pain and tightness, dieting without stress and restrictions, and getting on track with life.

Our Facility
The Perno Performance gym is a personal training studio, first and foremost.
Although some choose to train by themselves with programs written by Hayden in the facility, for the most part, as a studio, it allows us to limit congestion, keep the show ponies out, and focus on our clientele.
With a high ceiling, window walls, and a large roller door, the facility boasts plenty of natural light and airflow.
We have equipment for all your needs (dumbbells from 1kg to 50kg, kettlebells, Olympic barbells, Olympic rings, weight lifting platforms, suspension trainers, skipping ropes, landmine, cable machines, GHD, sled, plyometric boxes, and more).
We are also proud of our non-intimidating environment that suits all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced, all skills, and all capabilities.

Private training sessions are a surefire way to get the most bang for your buck, each and every time you head to the gym. They run for 45-60 minutes and include a focused warm-up, including any stretch, mobility, and activation drills that will enhance the workout, and a customised strength and conditioning program.
Prices start at $75.00 per session. However, if you are a student or pensioner, please get in touch and we can discuss options.
Semi-private group training sessions (2-8 people maximum) are a great alternative for people looking to budget their health and fitness. They run between 45-60 minutes and include a focused warm-up, including any stretch, mobility, and activation drills that will enhance the workout, and a customised strength and conditioning program.
You have two options of joining a semi-private group training session:
- Bringing people with you (friends, family members, work colleagues, partners).
- Joining an already established group. (Please note that this is predicated on there being availabilities within them.)
Prices start at $40.00 per person, per session. However, if you are a student or pensioner, please get in touch and we can discuss options.
Group training is aimed at groups of nine or more. These can be family or work groups who are after a more generalised training session that caters for all skills and fitness levels.
These are 45-60 minutes in length and include a warm-up, strength and conditioning exercises, and a stretch and mobility cool down.
Prices start at $25.00 per person, per session. However, if you have a group of more than fifteen, please get in touch and we can discuss options.
Zoom classes are a popular option for busy people, especially with so many working from home these days. They are also great for people who don’t have much (or any) equipment but would still like to move the body, loosening up tight areas, decreasing pain, and strengthening the muscles.
Zoom classes run for 40 minutes, are not capped with how many participants attend, and are priced at $100.00 per session.

If you’d like to train by yourself with a custom online program designed by me, then this option will suit you.
All programs come with exercises, reps, sets, rest periods, and video tutorials.
